“Problem Solving the Republic,” shows an America full of superheroes and government villains. The musical satire is shown by film producer Brandon Van Vliet + we see “If This Is A Dream.”
It’s a fine example of independent movie makers sharing their perspectives from outside the limits of Hollywood, happily shared with Tyrel Ventura on Buzzsaw.
Guest Bio
Brandon Van Vliet emerged onto the Minneapolis Film Scene in 2004 after he co-founded his Production Company / Indie Film label, Restraining Hollywood. Since then, he has Released numerous Music Videos & Independent Films including Up North (2004), People Talk (2006), Trust Me (2008), Hunting Buddies (2009), Potpourri (2011/I) & In Harm’s Way(2011), Problem Solving the Republic (2012) Plus a Web Series called “One Night Stand”(2010/I). Brandon’s main goal is to Produce Independent Movies that combine different genres into each Film, making it hard for the typical viewer to categorize. Progressive, a bit Experimental yet Fun & watchable. Brandon stays busy running Restraining Hollywood & working on Multiple Projects as an Actor, Producer & sometimes even a Writer. Brandon resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
