ANOTHER WORLD, the Occupy Wall St. documentary is shared with the trailer and additional footage and explanation offered by filmmaker Lauren Saffa. The story of the 99%, the political dissidents involved, and the continuing production of the film that addresses the critics and players of the movement against income inequality is discussed in this BYOD.
Guest Bio
LAUREN SAFFA is a film editor/producer. Favorite documentary credits include Deepest Dive for BBC America and My Decisions, both with director Fisher Stevens. Saffa recently co-produced and edited the feature documentary Another World about Occupy Wall Street with Article 19 Films (Official Selection, Berlin International Film Festival 2014).
Saffa attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts / Gallatin. In Cuba, Saffa studied film at La Fundacion del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano. Saffa has produced travel features around the world for Lonely Planet, Current TV, and TripFilms. She also produces author profiles for Random House, Macmillan, and Simon&Schuster, among other publishers.
