The baddest man to ever make good in Hollywood, Danny Trejo joins us for an incredible interview. Danny shares the story of how he went from being the Welterweight Champ at San Quentin, to working on movies and living a life of service to others.
Danny also gives his opinion on Latino political problems, the military industrial complex, and public school issues, as well as talking about some of the heavy weights he’s worked with (Lady Gaga, De Niro and more).
With a career spanning 30 years Danny Trejo has worked in close to 200 films and has appeared on numerous television shows and has also lent his voice to animated series and video games. A former convict, Danny was in and out of jail for of 11 years. After finding himself on the set of “Runaway Train,” Danny started his acting career and has not looked back. He has worked with some of the premiere actors and directors of our time including Robert De Niro, George Clooney, Michael Mann, Tony Scott, Quentin Tarantino and his most frequent collaborator, Robert Rodriguez.
He recently wrapped production on “Machete Kills” and will soon be seen on the FX series “Sons of Anarchy.”
