Kathy Anderson is the wife of Dr. W. French Anderson, a pioneer of gene therapy who was convicted of sexually abusing a minor and is now serving a 14 year jail sentence for his crimes. Anderson has been outspoken in defending her husband and fighting to clear his name by bringing forth claims in support of his innocence since his incarceration in 2007.
