The Punk Singer- Kathleen Hanna Documentary w. Dir. Sini Anderson

The Punk Singer is the new documentary about Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill and Le Tigre. Having been a force in punk rock and feminism for over 20 years, Hanna has gone through intense personal struggles that have been largely fought privately until now. Sharing the trailer, and footage from the film, director Sini Anderson joins BYOD to talk about making the film, the connection between Hanna and Kurt Cobain, and the “third wave” of feminism.
