Lissette Padilla graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (don’t worry, she won’t psychoanalyze you unless you ask her to). During her years in Westwood she became the youngest director of a UCLA tutorial program, as she was tasked to lead the AAP Freshman and Transfer Summer Programs. She also started the organization “Bruins for Animals,” and was featured as a keynote speaker at some of the area’s most prominent leadership conferences. Most recently, Lissette led the consulting division for Veritas Prep, where she gained robust experience in the strategic planning and analytics involved in the improvement process, all the while managing more than 100 globally-based MBA consultants.
A true Los Angeles native, Lissette has experience as a host and voice over artist, roles she recently reprised to critical acclaim for several Veritas Prep demos and online videos. She spends much of her free time giving back to her community, mentoring inner city students through South Central Scholars and collaborating with several organizations to provide Title 1 high school students the opportunity to experience live theatre. In 2010, she combined her passion for the arts and experience in education management via Dance Adelante - a non-profit she co-founded. When she’s not dancing the night away, she plays “Hitch,” leading dating workshops to help clients develop interpersonal communication skills.
Whether it is hosting a television show, communicating strategic plans to C-level executives, or conducting dating workshops with professional clients, Lissette loves to connect with her audience. We hope you tune in and connect with her too!
