Bernie Acknowledges Defeat, Focuses on Democratic Platform

Bernie Sanders acknowledged that it isn’t likely he’ll be the Democratic presidential nominee, speaking in a interview with C-SPAN this week. “It doesn’t appear that I’m going to be the nominee, so I’m not going to be determining the scope of the convention,” the Vermont senator said. Sanders added that despite his apparent loss to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, he hopes to leave a progressive mark on the party and to take his “political revolution” to the party convention.
