Bernie Sanders revealed at a news conference Wednesday that the Democratic National Committee rejected his nomination of Rose Ann DeMoro, executive director of National Nurses United, for the 15-member Platform Drafting Committee after they announced back in May that the Vermont senator had won five appointments.
