Rancher Cliven Bundy Calls Out Eric Holder in Bizarre Ad For Candidate Kamau Bakari

Nevada’s racist-ranting rancher Cliven Bundy – who became a Tea Party favorite after challenging the federal government on its requirement to pay fees for his cattle to graze on federal land – is now appearing in one of the most bizarre political ads of the season.

During his appearance in the ad - in which he stumps for black U.S. Congress independent candidate Kamau Bakari – Bundy also challenges outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder to a kind of Wild West duel.

Bundy rode a wave of publicity before falling out of favor when video emerged of him suggesting that blacks “were better off as slaves, picking cotton.”

But now the Nevada rancher and Bakari are jointly seen inviting Holder to travel to the state to “have the conversation about race that he claims Americans are too cowardly to have.”

“I know black folks have had a hard time with slavery – and you know the government was in on it – the government is in on it again, Bundy says in the campaign ad. “I worked my whole life without mistreating anybody, a man ought to be able to express himself without being called names,” he said.

Bakari responds: “I hear you Cliven, I believe ya - a brave white man like you might be just what we need to put an end to this political correctness stuff in America today.” He adds: “I know, I’m as sick as you are. I feel ashamed when I hear white folks whine about white folks this and white folks that, always begging.”

“It’s almost like black folks think white folks owe them something,” Bundy interjects.

The discussion points out that even with Bundy’s support in the provocative ad, Bakari is still not viewed as a serious threat to the congressional seat currently held by Democratic Representative Dina Titus.
