Cuba Eliminates Mother To Baby HIV And Syphilis Transmission

Cuba has become the first country to eliminate the transmission of HIV and syphilis from mother to baby. Cuba partnered with the World Health Organization and put in place a five year program with increased education and access to antiretroviral drugs to eradicate the transmission from mother to child.
