Suspected Abu Sayyaf, an al Qaeda linked terrorist organization have kidnapped four and are demanding a $60 million ransom. The hostages include two Canadians, John Ridsdel and Robert Hall, Norwegian Kjartan Sekkingstad and Filipino national Maritess Flor who were identified in a video circulated online by the US-based SITE Intelligence Group. The Filipino Muslim terrorist cell have been responsible for organized kidnappings, beheadings, extortion and bomb attacks. Currently, the Philippine government has a no-ransom policy and plans to secure the safe return of the hostages. Nik Zecevic and Margaret J.
