The Fire Challenge has resulted in the arrest of a Charlotte mother for videotaping her son lighting himself on fire as part of the popular social media stunt where participants set themselves ablaze and try to extinguish the flames before they get burned. The woman was arrested after her 16-year-old son posted the video to Facebook. Several children have already suffered severe burns from participating in the dangerous stunt.
