France is warning parents that they may face potential lawsuits for posting images of their children on social media. The country claims the photos are breaching children’s right to privacy and could be jeopardizing their security. French security laws state that parents could face up to a year in prison and thousands of dollars in fines if convicted of publishing intimate details without consent, even if it is their children.
