Holocaust Murder Trial Ends With Guilty Verdict for 94-Year-Old Ex-Auschwitz Guard

Reinhold Hanning, a 94-year-old former Auschwitz guard, was sentenced on Friday to five years in prison after being convicted of playing a role in the murder of more than 170,000 people at the death camp in Nazi-occupied Poland. The verdict marks the end of a nearly four-month trial, which is likely to be the last Holocaust-era case. Hanning, who was a guard at Auschwitz from 1942 to 1944, admitted he knew Jews were being killed at the camp but did nothing to stop it. We look at the Holocaust murder trial on the Lip News with Margaret Howell, Nik Zecevic and Jo Ankier.
