Kentucky clerk Kim Davis has been released from jail and ordered not to interfere with the issuing of marriage licenses by her office after being detained for five days for refusing to comply with a court order to issue marriage licenses to gay couples. Davis was released on Tuesday morning to the sounds of Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” which played in the background as she, her husband, and Mike Huckabee celebrated her freedom. Davis is now facing backlash from Survivor over her use of their popular song along with the Westboro Baptist Church who blame her for the legalization of same-sex marriage.
