Veteran LAPD officers James Nichols and Luis Valenzuela have been charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting four women, ranging in age from 19 to 34, while on duty between 2008 and 2011 at various locations. Meanwhile, a new lawsuit alleges that the LAPD tried to bury the case. The suit alleges that the officers were reported for sexual assault by at least three other women between 2009 and 2012, but they weren’t suspended until 2013.
