Mekong Teeming with Previously Unknown Species of Life

139 new species were discovered by scientists last year in the Great Mekong region, according to a WWF report entitled Magical Mekong. The report details ninety plants, 23 reptiles, 16 amphibians, nine fish, and one mammal, many of which are already at risk of extinction.
