Benjamin Netanyahu’s claims that Iran was close to making nuclear weapons are being disproved by the newly released “Spy Cables.” The communications, which are sensitive intelligence secrets being leaked to Al Jazeera and The Guardian through the South African State Security Agency, have shown that the Mossad disproved the assertions made by Netanyahu at the United Nations in October of 2012 that Iran was on the brink of enriching uranium for nuclear weapons. The possible continuing stream of secret information that will be released in the “Spy Cables” is discussed on the Lip News with Mark Sovel, Jo Ankier, and Elliot Hill.
