A 12-year old Virginia girl is facing criminal charges after an emoji threat, featuring a bomb, knife and gun with the phrase “meet me in the Library,” was made public. Though the school found the threat not credible, the student was charged with computer harassment and threatening the school. With emoji communication becoming a more popular form of communication, law enforcement is having a difficult time interpreting them.
