Let's talk about it.

Polls Show Republicans Could Gain Enough Seats to Take Senate

With less than 24 hours to go before polling places will close in the county’s midterm elections, key races in several states remain too close to call.

But that didn’t stop some pundits from predicting that the Republicans could pick up enough seats – they need at least six - to take a majority in the Senate.

GOP wins are considered all but certain in three states - Montana, South Dakota and West Virginia – with tight races also at stake in Kentucky, Georgia, Louisiana and Iowa.

The discussion breaks down the races in these key states ahead of tomorrow’s crucial voting.

One person not buying into the pre-election hype about a possible shift of power is Vice President Joe Biden. “I don’t agree with the oddsmakers. I predict we’re gonna keep the Senate,” Biden told reporters.

He added if it does turn out that the GOP gets control of the Senate, it won’t change any administrations priorities.
