Australian Paralympic champion Liesl Tesch warned that Rio de Janeiro is a “dangerous place” after being robbed at gunpoint while training in the Brazilian city ahead of the 2016 Summer Olympics, which will be held there in August. Meanwhile, a jaguar featured at an Olympic torch ceremony on Monday was shot and killed shortly after the event as it escape from its handlers. Additionally, an image emerged Monday of a sniper aiming a semi-automatic rifle at cars on the road that all Olympic athletes and fans must take to get to the event.
