Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest exporter of crude oil, plans to diversify its economy beyond a reliance on oil and gas in an effort to combat climate change. Saudi Arabia submitted its plan, which could cut up to 130 million tons of carbon emissions by 2030, to the UN ahead of the climate change summit in Paris later this month.
