Saudi Arabia signed a nuclear-cooperation deal with South Korea to develop two nuclear reactors in the next 20 years as the U.S. and Iran moved toward progress on Tehran’s nuclear program last week. This agreement has perpetuated fears that Obama’s deal with Iran will fuel an arms race in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia’s former intelligence chief, Prince Turki al-Faisal has already warned in recent months that Riyadh will match the nuclear capabilities that Iran is allowed to keep.
