An ancient giant virus dubbed “Frankenvirus” has been discovered frozen in Siberia by scientists who said they will reanimate the 30,000-year-old virus and warned that climate change may awaken dangerous microscopic pathogens. The virus, known as Mollivirus sibericum, is the fourth type of prehistoric virus found since 2003. We look at the discovery on the Lip News with Margaret Howell and Nik Zecevic.
