Second Mexican Drug Boss Captured Within a Week

Drug lord Omar Trevino Morales, leader of Mexico’s Los Zetas cartel, has been captured. The Zetas leader has eleven pending criminal cases against him and has been called “one of the most dangerous and bloodthirsty criminals in Mexico,” by Tomas Zeron, director of criminal investigations for the Attorney General’s Office. This marks the second capture of a drug boss in Mexico in a week as Servando Gomez, leader of the Knights Templar drug cartel, was captured on Friday.
