Was Seductive Prisoner Impregnated by Police to Avoid Death Sentence?

42-year-old Vietnamese prisoner Nguyen Thi Hue, a convicted drug trafficker on death row, got herself pregnant in an attempt to avoid the death penalty. Hue inseminated herself in August 2015 with semen bought from 27-year-old fellow inmate Nguyen Tuan Hung, according to investigators. In Vietnam, the execution of pregnant women or mothers whose children are less than 36 months old is forbidden. In those cases, the death sentence will have to be reduced to life imprisonment.
