Shocking Discovery at Tiger Temple in Thailand

40 dead tiger cubs have been found in a freezer at a Thai Buddhist Temple. The Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi has been accused of animal abuse, drugging and trafficking since 2001, but remained a popular tourist attraction where visitors could take selfies with bottle-fed cubs. The latest allegations come in the wake of a photograph posted on Twitter by photojournalist Dario Pignatelli showing the dead tiger cubs on a tarp with a dead bear. Though the temple denies any wrongdoing, they have begun the relocation of its 147 tigers and placed 40 in new homes at Ratchaburi wildlife breeding research station. Nik Zecevic and Jo Ankier examine the Tiger Temple further on the Lip News.
