THE SIMPSONS Co-Creator Sam Simon Dies at 59

Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon has died at the age of 59 after being diagnosed with terminal colon cancer in 2012. The nine-time Emmy Award-winning comedy writer, producer and philanthropist announced last year that he was planning to donate $100 million of his fortune to charity, mostly to animal organizations. Simon is also known for his work on shows like Taxi, Cheers, The Drew Carey Show, and The George Carlin Show. We take a look at the comedy legend’s legacy, in this Lip News clip with Jackie Koppell.
