A Singapore Airlines flight was grounded after fire alarms were triggered from the gas omitted by 2,186 sheep on board. The Boeing 747-400 freighter departed Sydney and was in route to Malaysia when it diverted to Indonesia’s Bali Denpasar airport where the crew was able to safely land and determine the source, which was caused by manure and the exhaust gas from sheep farts. Nik Zecevic and Margaret J. Howell discuss the diverted flight and phenomenon on The Lip News.
