A Danish teenager who was sexually assaulted is facing charges and a fine after using pepper spray to fight off her attacker. The 17-year-old told police she was targeted in the town of Sonderborg in southern Denmark Wednesday by an English-speaking man, who knocked her to the ground and tried to undress her. However, she was able to protect herself by spraying the substance at the man, who escaped the scene and hasn’t been charged.
