Large Hadron Collider, the world’s most powerful particle accelerator, went offline early Friday morning after a small mammal, possibly a weasel, gnawed-through a power cable causing a short circuit. The LHC is located at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, near Geneva, Switzerland. How long will it take for workers to repair the damage and bring the machine back online? We look at the shutdown on the Lip News with Nik Zecevic and Mark Sovel.
