Guest Bio
Nicole Karsin covered Colombia’s armed conflict as an independent journalist for a U.S. audience from 2002-2009. She was recently a fellow at the Latino Media Market, the Latino Producers Academy & Film Independent’s 7-week Inaugural Documentary Lab. She formed Todos Los Pueblos Productions LLC (All the Peoples’ Productions) to move audiences to action through artful, character-driven films about global struggles for human rights and dignity in 2007. Karsin holds a Bachelor of the Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and a Masters of Science from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is currently completing directing and producing We Women Warriors, which is her opera prima.
