Former Commander Bob Olmsted is a current candidate for the Los Angeles County Sheriff who acted as a whistleblower following his retirement from the police department, where he served as Commander of Custody Headquarters, and Captain of the Men’s Central Jail.. Additionally, he has taught on Criminal Justice at El Camino College.
