THE EAGLE HUNTRESS follows 13-year-old Aisholpan Nurgaiv as she prepares to compete in the Annual Golden Eagle Festival which would overturn 2,000 years of male tradition in her native Mongolia. THE EAGLE HUNTRESS is the story of a young Muslim nomad Aisholpan Nurgaiv, who longs to become the first “Huntress” to ever to compete in the Annual Golden Eagle Festival. Aisholpan dreams of hunting in the frozen winters to prove that “a girl can do anything a boy can, so long as she’s determined.” First she must convince her father Agalai - a Master Eagle Hunter - to train her in this ancient art that has been passed down through her family from father to son for countless generations.
Morgan Spurlock is an American documentary filmmaker, humorist,television producer, screenwriter, and political activist, best known for the documentary films Super Size Me, Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden, POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope and One Direction: This Is Us. Spurlock was the executive producer and star of the reality television series 30 Days. In June 2013, he became host and producer of the CNN show Inside Man. He is also the co-founder of short-film content marketing company cinelan, which produced the Focus Forward campaign for GE.
Jeremy Chilnick is an Emmy-nominated writer and producer. He is currently Partner & President of Production at Morgan Spurlock’s Warrior Poets, where he oversees all aspects of production for film, television and digital content. Since co-founding Warrior Poets, Chilnick has written and produced multiple films, including Comic Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope, Mansome, and the 3D documentary One Direction: This Is Us. Chilnick has also Executive Produced and Written on multiple television projects including Showtime’s 7 Deadly Sins, CNN’s Morgan Spurlock’s Inside Man & The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D on Ice! In addition to his film and television work, Chilnick has been at the forefront of digital content creation at Warrior Poets, overseeing the launch of the their new channel, SMARTish, in partnership with Maker Studios.
