Mubin Shaikh was born and raised in Canada but at age 19, became a supporter of the militant jihadi culture. Shaikh eventually relinquished his violent interpretations of Islam and volunteered with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) to fight international and domestic terrorism. Working for CSIS he infiltrated several radical groups and conducted surveillance on suspects as an undercover operative on cases which remain CLASSIFIED, eventually traversing to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team (INSET).
