Geoffrey Gilson is a dual US/UK citizen, born and bred in England. He trained as a lawyer, before pursuing a career in management consultancy and political public relations. He was for ten years active in the British Conservative Party, up to the national level. Currently, he resides in Carrboro, NC, where he blogs, composes pop songs and advocates for social justice issues. Additionally, he has been shot at by British Intelligence, warned off by the CIA and once had tea with Margaret Thatcher.
