The Police Fishing Expedition that Killed Sam DuBose

University of Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing shot and killed Samuel DuBose, an unarmed black man, during a traffic stop for a missing front license plate. Tensing was indicted on charges of murder and voluntary manslaughter by a grand jury after prosecutors alleged that footage from Tensing’s body cam showed evidence contrary to his original statement that he was dragged.
