Guest Bio

Patrick Creadon made his documentary feature-length directorial debut with WORDPLAY which was a breakout hit at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. The film went on to become one of the top 25 highest grossing documentaries of all time His follow-up film I.O.U.S.A., a non-partisan examination of America’s national debt, premiered at Sundance in 2008 and was shortlisted for Best Documentary for the Academy Awards. IF YOU BUILD IT is Creadon’s third feature-length documentary and follows a year in the life of one of America’s most innovative classrooms where students design & build to transform their hometown community. IF YOU BUILD IT opens in theaters on January 10th at IFC Center in New York City and on January 24th at the Landmark Nuart in Los Angeles.

Ondi Timoner is the only filmmaker to win Grand Jury Prize at Sundance twice. Born in Miami, Florida, Timoner graduated cum laude from Yale University, with a double major in American Studies (concentration in Film and Literature) and Theater Studies.
