A group of 17 Iowa Boy Scouts were detained at gunpoint by border patrol while trying to cross the border of Canada into Alaska after one of the scouts tried to take a photo of one of the border agents. The agent then informed the scoutmaster that the scout had committed a federal offense and that he would be arrested, fined $10,000, and face 10 years in prison. One of the agents even pulled a pistol and pointed it during the scouts during a luggage search after being startled by a noise. The scouts were eventually released and allowed to continue on their journey. We look at the incident, in this Lip News clip with Mark Sovel and Gabriel Mizrahi.
