Ecstasy Levels Increase in Rivers Near Music Festival

Ecstasy and caffeine levels spiked in rivers near the Spring Scream music festival in Taiwan creating a significant amount of damage to the local environment, according to a study by The American Chemical Society, which analyzed water contamination levels before, during, and after the festival. The study found spikes of fifteen different illegal substances, which festival-goers had introduced into nearby rivers.
