During the Super Bowl, the NFL will be airing a public-service announcement from No More designed to reduce domestic violence and sexual assault. The ad features a dramatized situation where a woman tries to alert a 9/11 operator that she needs help without tipping off her attacker. This will obviously be a down note on the otherwise uplifting tone that pervades Super Bowl advertisements. The NFL’s PR campaign against domestic violence stems from the incident last year where Ray Rice was caught on video hitting his wife in an elevator.
